Identity. GLP-3R is a fatty-acylated peptide agonist at the glucagon, GIP, and GLP-1 receptors, engineered from a GIP-related backbone. In research (medical). Coskun et al. (Cell Metabolism, 2022, PMID 35985340) describe balanced glucagon- and GLP-1-receptor activity with higher GIP activity, plus mouse pharmacology; clinical studies of the named molecule also exist. It is not an FDA-approved finished drug under this research listing. Sequence and salt form for any vial should be confirmed on the COA. In plain English. Scientists study GLP-3R as a single molecule that can talk to three metabolism-related hormone receptors at once. It is an investigational-style research compound here -- not a prescribed medicine.
