Identity. Terz is a synthetic 39-residue, fatty-diacid-acylated peptide that acts as a dual agonist of the GIP and GLP-1 receptors. In research. In vitro and mouse pharmacology (Coskun et al., Molecular Metabolism, 2018, PMID 30473097) show concurrent GIP-receptor and GLP-1-receptor engagement, with albumin binding that extends circulating half-life in animal models. Lot identity is defined by the certificate of analysis. In plain English. Terz is studied as a laboratory tool that engages two incretin receptors, GIP and GLP-1. Vials are for bench research only.
