Identity. Cagrilintide is a lipidated, long-acting analogue of amylin (islet amyloid polypeptide) designed for amylin receptors (calcitonin receptor plus RAMPs). In research (medical). Kruse et al. (Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, PMID 34288673) describe structure–activity work that limited amyloid formation while retaining receptor potency. Clinical co-development with GLP-1 agonists has been published for the named drug substance; this listing is research reference material only. In plain English.
