Refund & Cancellation Policy — Research Catalog

This policy is part of the Terms of Service.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled without charge if the request is made before the order has shipped. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

Returns

Due to the nature of laboratory reference materials — including cold-chain handling, lot-specific certificates of analysis, and the inability to verify storage conditions after a product leaves our facility — products cannot be returned once delivered, except in the following cases:

• The product received does not match the item ordered (wrong SKU/lot)
• The product arrived with visible damage to packaging affecting product

integrity

• Independent lab testing (at Buyer's expense) demonstrates the product does

not meet the purity specification on its certificate of analysis

Refund Process

Approved refund or replacement requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery, with photographic evidence (for damage claims) or third-party lab results (for purity disputes). Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

• Buyer error in product selection or quantity
• Products stored or handled outside recommended conditions after delivery
• Any claim submitted more than 7 days after delivery
• Any product that has had its RUO labeling removed or altered

Chargebacks

Buyers are asked to contact the Company directly to resolve any order issue before initiating a chargeback with their payment provider. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension and referral to the payment processor's dispute resolution process.
