What it is
A co-lyophilized research blend of two named peptides. The label is a formulation description. It is not a single new sequence.
Structure and sequence
The GHRH-analogue backbone commonly published for modified GRF(1-29) is Y-(D-Ala)-DAIFTQSYRKVLAQLSARKLLQDILSR-NH2. Ipamorelin is Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2. The GRF analogue in this blend lacks the maleimide that defines the albumin-binding DAC conjugate.
Molecular weight
Each constituent has its own mass. Ipamorelin is near 711 Da. The certificate of analysis covers both sequences in the lot.
What published research models study
The two peptides act at different receptors in the published single-agent literature: the GHRH receptor and GHS-R1a. Human pharmacokinetic work published as CJC-1295 (PMID 16352683) refers to the DAC conjugate, not this DAC-free blend.

- Teichman et al., JCEM, 2006 (DAC conjugate; not this blend). PMID 16352683
Storage and handling
Supplied as a lyophilized solid in a sealed vial unless the catalog row states another format. Recommended storage is −20 °C. Trained laboratory personnel should handle the vial with appropriate personal protective equipment. Identity, purity, salt form, and lot-specific notes belong on the certificate of analysis, which is available on request.
