What it is

GHK-Cu is a 1:1 copper(II) complex of glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine. The peptide without copper is a different substance. This listing is the research complex, supplied lyophilized.

Structure and sequence

The tripeptide sequence is Gly-His-Lys. The copper ion is coordinated by that peptide. Which other ligands are present depends on the salt form.

Molecular weight

The free tripeptide mass is near 340 Da. The complex is heavier. The certificate of analysis is the mass record for the lot.

What published research models study

Pickart and Margolina summarized cell-culture and gene-expression measurements on the copper complex (International Journal of Molecular Sciences, 2018). This page cites that paper as laboratory literature. It does not restate those measurements as a product claim.

Storage and handling

Supplied as a lyophilized solid in a sealed vial unless the catalog row states another format. Recommended storage is −20 °C. Trained laboratory personnel should handle the vial with appropriate personal protective equipment. Identity, purity, salt form, and lot-specific notes belong on the certificate of analysis, which is available on request.
