What it is
AHK-Cu is a copper tripeptide complex used as a laboratory material. It is not the same molecule as GHK-Cu.
Structure and sequence
The tripeptide sequence is Ala-His-Lys. The His-Lys copper-binding motif is shared with GHK. The N-terminal residue is alanine rather than glycine.
Molecular weight
The free tripeptide mass is near 354 Da. Complex mass depends on copper ligands and is lot-specific.
What published research models study
Cell-culture notes exist for this analogue. They are not a substitute for the GHK literature, and they are not copied here as an effect. Compare lots by the certificate of analysis.

Storage and handling
Supplied as a lyophilized solid in a sealed vial unless the catalog row states another format. Recommended storage is −20 °C. Trained laboratory personnel should handle the vial with appropriate personal protective equipment. Identity, purity, salt form, and lot-specific notes belong on the certificate of analysis, which is available on request.
